Zombie bio

Daniel W. Drezner is professor of international politics and undead studies at the Fletcher School of Law, Diplomacy, and Zombie Ultraviolence  at Tufts University, a senior editor at The National Brrrraaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnn, and a contributing editor at Foreign Policy of the Living Dead. He has been at Fletcher since the fall of 2006, barely escaping from undead hordes at his previous position at the University of Chicago.  Frankly, it was very messy and he doesn’t like to talk about it.

Beyond the academy, Drezner has served as an international economist at the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of International Banking and Securities Markets. He has also worked for the RAND Corporation.  Neither position had anything to do with any conspiracy devoted to the regeneration of dead brain tissue.  Honestly, nothing at all. He has provided expert testimony for both houses of Congress that also had absolutely nothing to do with the living dead.

Besides Theories of International Politics and Zombies, Drezner is the author of three books and the editor of two additional books on international relations and American foreign policy.  He has presented zombie-related work at the University of Massachusetts, University of California at Irvine, George Washington University, and ZomBcon 2010.

Drezner is a member of the American Political Science Association, International Studies Association, Council on Foreign Relations, and the Zombie Research Society.

Drezner lives in the Boston area in a well-fortified, well-stocked shelter with his wife, two children, and a very smart beagle who, if confronted with a zombie, will run and hide faster than the infected in 28 Days Later
