Thief foiled by Democratic party caricature
In the Washington Post, Allison Klein writes about an attempted robbery thwarted by.... Camembert: A grand feast of marinated steaks and jumbo shrimp was winding down, and a group of friends was sitting on the back patio of a Capitol Hill home, sipping red wine. Suddenly, a hooded man slid in through an open gate and put the barrel of a handgun to the head of a 14-year-old guest.Click on the story to read what happens next... but group hugs are involved. posted by Dan on 07.13.07 at 03:23 PM Comments: the hell??? I think there should be some clever joke to make about "Six Degrees of Separation," but I'm just stuck thinking: the hell?? posted by: Jacob T. Obviously he is black or Hispanic, and just as obviously the Post is keeping it from us (along w/ height, weight, clothing, and other information). posted by: blah on 07.13.07 at 03:23 PM [permalink]Blah, notice how the dinner party is Latino? You'd do better in terms of making people listen to your reasonable request -- the Post ought to have included a description of the intruder, height, weight, eye color, race etc. etc. -- if you would pitch it in reasonable terms rather than tar or feather a certain group of people. posted by: db on 07.13.07 at 03:23 PM [permalink]Post a Comment: |
